A Girl's Dream

A girl's dream is to be loved just the way she is. To not worry about acting like someone she’s not so a guy will like her, love her, say she is beautiful without her even trying. If only every man in the world would be like the guy Bruno Mars is when he sings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjhCEhWiKXk&ob=av2e
“Her hair, her hair, falls perfectly without her trying”, catch the, without trying? Us girls spend so much time on our hair! Even through out the day! I bet that if we took out taking time to fix, check, and to do our hair, it would add hours upon hours extra for us to do something else.
“Oh, you know, you know, you know, I'd never ask you to change/If perfect's what you're searching for then just stay the same” At this point, I was crying when I heard this part of the song. If perfect’s what you’re searching for,  then just stay the same. To even imagine a guy saying something as sweet as that to me was just completely and totally…touching. Dreaming a guy to say this to any girl, is a not only a dream, but to be called a wish upon a star. There are not very many guys out there who would say this, and not be trying to get something from us .
“When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change/Because you're amazing, just the way you are/And when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while/Because girl you're amazing, just the way you are”. My heart decided to jump up when it heard this stanza being sung. But then sank down to the bottom of the pits. It jumped because, when he sees her face, there are no imperfections, no minor glitches. Nothing that the world pronounces as ugly. Bruno sings, you’re amazing, just the way you are, so amazing that when you smile, the world cannot help but stand in awe of your beauty, just the way you are. It fell because in reality, there are only a few men who would actually feel, and truly mean it when they say those things. The rest of the world is made up of guys who do not  care about the women surrounding them. Most of them only want the satisfaction of getting us, and having us do what they want.
A girl’s dream is to be loved just the way she is, to be perfect the way she is, and for a man to mean it when he tells her she is beautiful the way she is. Bruno Mars perfectly describes my wish upon a shooting star in the song, ‘Just the Way You Are’.

Footsteps Out My Window

I’m in the tv room, watching my ultimate favorite show, House. I’m wracking my brain for a solution to this patients problem,  but as a commercial break comes on, I all of a sudden hear the crackling of leaves outside of the window, near to where I am sitting. I freeze, and scary thoughts start showering my thoughts. Horrible images of the wild animals I know to live out in the forest near my house. Also, the faces of evil people I have seen with my imagination in a window before, flood my brain. Muting the tv, I keep on listening to the sound that broke the peaceful silence. At this moment, my heart is pounding like a stick to a drum. Then the breaking of leaves stop, and I start to hear, what sounds like, footsteps on the porch. Immediately, I think there is someone on the back porch, which is easier to get to the room that I am in at the moment. Looking out the window, all I can see is pitch blackness, not even the trees surrounding the house. I can’t move, my body isn’t responding to my commands. I want to scream for my grandmother or grandfather, but no sounds are coming out. I keep on hearing the noise coming closer and closer to where I am...

Beautiful Serenity

The life of a Kyrgyz nomad looks as if it would be terrible, moving about, what  would seem, all the time. You can’t possibly imagine it, nor could I.  Though there may be other many reasons why they choose that way of life, I can see a few in the image: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://explore-photo.com/resources/thumbs/
you can see the beautiful scenery, and feel the serenity.
With puffy white clouds that dot the perfect blue sky, and the snow sprinkled mountain, you can’t help but stand in awe. To know that a Kyrgyz  family is enjoying this vision of beauty, I am very jealous. They get to see this amazing creation everyday while letting out their sheep and maybe their one or two horses out to roam for the day. As my eyes scanned the luscious green grass covering the brown dirt, I know to be beneath, I wish I could float into this picture, and be able to run and dance on that valley. But the closest thing I can do, is remember the  days where I once experienced being apart of something close to what is seen in the photo above.
With the bustle and bouncing in a city, there seems to be no time for relaxing. There is always something to be done.   As I look at this picture, I can feel the city noiselessness surrounding the Kyrgyz nomad’s yurt.  In other words, the serenity.  This is a place that I know a writer could travel to and enjoy the peacefulness, and be able to write their fantastic novels of adventure, passion, or love for life. Here I see cool wind whipping across tall mountain dusted with snow, and imagine a young Kyrgyz girl running toward the yurt, the place where she is calling home for just a while, and saying, “Mama, Mama, it’s beautiful here and  quiet! I just hope Papa doesn’t snore so loud tonight! That would surely wake every living animal here! And have the snow on that far mountain start tumbling down!”
With beauty, there is a sense of  love from God, but with beauty that is combined with serenity, that’s not just love, that is unfathomable  love from our Holy Father.  I look upon a Kyrgyz nomad not while thinking, ‘Poor person, they have no where to live, that’s the reason why they have to move around so much.’ But while thinking, they get to see things that we can only imagine about, or in my case, remember. They may possibly be one of the luckiest people alive to look upon such things that hold such beauty and serenity every morning and every night.
